A few months ago I made a post regarding the FSAE project that I am involved with. It appeared that some members were interested so here is a small update on how things are progressing.
First of all I would like to give a big thanks to Jim Selin from Selin Design for donating a huge roll of carbon fiber to our project. His donation pretty much fulfilled our carbon fiber needs. Thanks for all your help Jim!
We were finally able to put the chassis on the ground last week. The car in the background is last year's car that we are using as a test bed and practice car.

Here is a short video clip of some of my team mates practicing with the last year's race car. We are trying to get as much driving time as possible to prepare for the competition. In the video you can see the wheel centers that were machined by me :)
Oh and to make this Z related, I was able to pass smog. Don't happy to worry about it for another year now.
